“It’s my birthday I can cry if I want to…” is a famous song for a reason because often we put so much pressure on an occasion to be perfect that it conjures up all sorts of emotions, not to mention the fact that  a lot of people don’t want to get older.

So whatever the occasion why don’t we rewrite our stories and celebrate however we want over whatever period of time.

Happy Birthday Danny

We decided to do him an epic surprise as I shared on social media:

We wanted to show how special @dannymalinofficial is to us all so why not celebrate his 44th redoing his 40th with an intimate gathering. We had an epic gathering @rbt_video with an amazing birthday cake by @asmas_cake and a takeaway from Danny’s fave @abdulsindian , films on the big screen made by t’old editor @ratemytakeawaynow, @jonnywfilms & @mrleefurness @panniloh Baloons @sense_of_occasion Plus cute cupcakes @asmas_cake @homelessstreetangels and the kids.  A crisp and popcorn buffet @rbt_video. Amazing tailor made gifts from the family @packedlunchc4 & @lfakallstars @jonny.morgan3 – thank you so much everyone for all the love, gifts and presence. Managed to keep it small and secret after piling Danny up with a Harry Potter breakfast at home, followed by a WALK in town @estabulorestaurants then @thesupperclubwakefield before the finale @rbt_video speakeasy  – wow what a place and amazing food and touches from all involved thank you!! Ps and big up to @katienewsamfashion for my dress I was a 1950s Diner girl. And from now on I’m either in gym kit @thesparklecoach or 1950s dresses xxx much peace and love xxxxx @andrearawson26 @davehyp @motivatingmichelle @fiz.ahmed @joyce_fro54_official @mrmrsyorkshire @ashleybenjaminmusic & more lovelies xxxx

Happy birthday to my best friend and Soul Mate my magician Danny – best known to many for his takeaways but to us he’s the best husband, papa and protector of our family.

While he’s been busy preparing his charity Christmas single he’s also become patron of

So for a birthday treat if you want to sponsor him this season and have your logo on his rugby cards… it’s just £50 all for a great charity (just email [email protected]).
