Being a parent is a HUGE LEARNING CURVE… I’ve gone from “I’m never going to breastfeed” - to being a breastfeeding mama for many years and Co sleeping… but what will we do differently with the next baby?

I truly believed I was watching my husband die.

Danny suffered two strokes, and at the time we didn’t fully understand the impact of brain damage and stroke. What followed was confusion, fear, and something many families don’t talk about — denial after a stroke.

In this vlog, I share:
• The early warning signs of a stroke
• What it’s really like loving someone through a brain injury
• The emotional reality of recovery, identity loss, and rebuilding life

Before went he went away filming I feared for his life… now I look forward to hearing his stories.

Recovery doesn’t mean going back to who you were.
It means learning to live, make changes and love in a completely new way.

Our bond? Unbreakable.

Today we’re heading to one of Yorkshire’s most unique attractions – the Scarborough Fair Collection & Vintage Transport Museum! 🎠 Step back in time as we explore incredible vintage fairground rides, classic vehicles, steam engines, and nostalgic treasures that bring British seaside history to life. I was on my happy geek mode!

From beautifully restored carousel rides to old-school transport, this place is packed with character and perfect for anyone who loves history, retro vibes, or a great family day out. And super fast ridea.

After that, we head over to Filey for the Food Festival—and it does NOT disappoint. Expect amazing street food, local Yorkshire treats, and plenty of hidden gems. We try a bit of everything and soak up the seaside atmosphere in one of Yorkshire’s most charming coastal towns.

I Had an Eating Disorder… Now I Review Food?!

For years, my relationship with food was shaped by fear, control, and an eating disorder. Meals weren’t something to enjoy — they were something to stress over.

But recovery changed everything.

In this vlog, I’m sharing my journey of healing, learning to trust my body again, and slowly finding joy in food… something I never thought would be possible.

What makes this even more special is doing it alongside my husband — a food reviewer who genuinely LOVES food @DannyvsFoodYT . Being around someone who celebrates food instead of fearing it has completely changed my perspective.

Together, we’ve turned something that once felt impossible into something joyful — from trying new meals, eating out, and creating memories around food again 🍽️ and takeaways aftwr all he is the takeaway king.

If you’re struggling, in recovery, or supporting someone who is — you are not alone. Recovery is messy, emotional, and not linear… but it is worth it 💛
